Disney's Sleeping Beauty & Bavaria. (Don't try telling the locals that they are part of a larger country - they won't wear it.) In fact they still think mad King Ludwig will re-appear some time soon.

indeed, Bavaria and it was the inspiration for walt Disney's Cinderella/sleeping beauty castle at Disney world, so all we need now is the name of the place ?

Neuschwanstein Castle, never finished internally as Mad King Ludwig mysteriously drowned in a lake while he was busy bankrupting Bavaria building fairytale castles. We stayed in the Hotel Schwanstein in the town below some 40 years or so ago.
