Answers to these questions might help you decide? 1. What hemisphere? - real time weather. 2. Island or continent? Another clue 3. Airport runway 13/31. More clues later, if necessary.....

OK Steve ... Love the scenery.
Haven't a clue where it is, but it does remind me of an airport in New Zealand (name long forgotten) but the snow knocks that to the curb.
I will be awaiting next clue ...

I was surprised about the snow cover when I visited the south island of New Zealand a couple of days ago. I thought my sim was playing tricks on me, but this is winter time in the southern hemisphere, and the further south generally the more snow. I went back there tonight to make sure that I wsn't being fooled.... and there was the snow.. You might have been at this airport when in the neighborhood of Milford Sound or Queenstown, or even Christchurch. Anyway, I was looking for a place for us to fly Thursday night. Pick an airport and I will join you. Milford Sound tonight was drizzlig but still snow on the ground. Christchurch - no snow, and the picture above gives a view of the south western portion of the island.

OK, let's find this airport. You will recognize it when you see it. We will begin at NZWF. Flight plan is below for P3D and FSX

Well, Mike now knows the ICAO and name of the airport in question. Mike figured out the hemisphere, Region, Country, Island, and came within 84 miles of NZMC (Mount Cook Airport) the "airport" answer to this puzzle. So, what do you think about giving Mike an A- as a grade for the project?
Note: see flight report above in a day or two, begining at NZWF Wanaka, (where Paul's' friend spent some time)
