Our British friends can give much more to the history than I could. X-ray is spot on so far, but there is more. I will show a few more pics as time goes on.

We are waiting quietly for our British friends to name the statued person. Then there is the famous Glenfinnan viaduct that this famous train (Potter famous) travels across in the sim.

Yes- Glenfinnan it is. The statue is of the 'wee pretender' Bonnie Prince Charlie who landed there from France for his attempt at taking the Throne in 1745. His army was defeated at the battle of Culloden (near Inverness) whilst he 'legged it' and subsequently returned to France. The viaduct is also famous being built by 'concrete Bob' McAlpine as a one-continuous pour concrete large structure. I've been there to watch the steam train 'specials' and travelled that line from Fort William to Mallaig. Great shots Steve. Cheers Dave M(oly)

Thanks so much Dave.I read somewhere that there is a diesel train that runs on these tracks as well, and those that can't get a ride on the "steam" ride the diesel. This animation from MSFS 2020 has another train besides the "Hogwarts Express" steamer. This other train might be the diesel. Check out the pictures The two trains meet at the Glenfinnan station. Loch Shiel. is the body of water on the left. I have not seen all the special features of this Glenfinnan 2020 region yet.

Yes Steve - the normal service is indeed a diesel , there are no steam locos running as normal - they ceased in the late '60s. We have travelled that line a number of times, always by diesel, the steam trains are specials to be reserved in advance. Cheers Dave M(oly)
