It is a tournament for the Timberwolves, and others. We are going to be just a few miles west of where Robert took us a few weeks ago. Our search for tournament points could be in Illinois and Missouri. We will start in the "show-me" state of Missouri and fly in the direction of St. Louis, where our biggest point prize will be the famous arch, also known as the "Gateway to the West". There are several airports in the St. Louis area, and many "points" available on the way to and from St. Louis.

Tournament aircraft:
Beech Baron 58 (default please, no mods or turbocharging allowed)
Tournament points as follows:
two wheel touch and go – 2 points
three wheel touch and go – 3 points
full stopped landing (on runway) – 4 points
fly through the gateway arch - 20 points (20 points max)
Points are only available once on any runway (in other words 09 or 27, not both) at an airport. An airport with two or more runways can be used for additional points. Any runway used for points cannot be used again. Closed (X’d out) runways don’t count.
We will trust you to keep track of your airports/runways used, and points. Two points will be deducted for every minute late after the official tournament ending time. At the end of our 100 minute tournament we will tally our points and determine the winner.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
We will depart from KFAM (Farmington Regional) and return to this same airport. Plan your tournament route to efficiently visit as many airports as possible in 100 minutes. Use whatever weather you would like. There will be no scheduled half-way break so bring everything you want to drink to the starting line. Or you could stop by an airport lounge, or men's room if you need a break.
