Mike and Steve departed RJCN Nakashibetsu, NW to RJCM I noticed that Japanese airports often had their name in large letters along the runway. This airport RJCM has it's name, the last few letters of Memanbetsu, visible in the grass. From RJCM we flew to RJKT and were on the way to RJEB Monbetsu airport when Mike showed some interest in exploring this big lagoon/body of water so I followed and got a few pictures. There is definitely a break in the land barrier and Mike was looking to see if any ships or boats were in the "harbour". According to Google this waterway is called Sarona Lake #1 Estuary...... No bridge was visible and the land on both sides of the estuary is part of Abashin National Park. A little further along the coast was this interesting display of what look like barriers, to keep the high water from coming ashore... There appear to be ships/boats at dock below. RJEB Monbetsu ahead To make plans to our final stop I signed off Join FS and looked in the sim for RJEC, and when I got back to RJEB and Join FS the weather had changed.... wind, rain, and in higher elevations the ice began to collect. Some weather screenshots follow. I got below the weather and made a good landing at RJEC Goodbye Mike. Enjoyed the flight.
