Coop, Dave, Mike, Steve and Troph ventured out on a beautiful day to be in the Midwestern USA. I have just a few screenshots taken from my Mooney 20R Ovation. Just shortly from our departure from KSLN was this small and old castle - Coronado Heights Castle, which along with a few other castles in Kansas, is supposedly haunted. The midwestern flatlands are condusive to long and straight roads and highways.. but occasionally a river might cause some turns and detours. Flying over KBEC Beech Factory airport, a public use, privately owned, airport by Beechcraft, was interesting to see, and is where aviation is a big part of it's history. According to Troph, who hails from this part of the country where there are not a lot of rivers and lakes, that they make their own lakes by creating reservoirs ( I saw quite a few small reservoirs. I end with a couple of pictures of this small reservoiir with a long dam. Great flight - thanks Dave
